MACEDONIA, Ohio (WKBN) - Champion rolled past Creston Norwayne 11-2 in five innings in the Division III Regional Semifinals on Wednesday afternoon.
Gabby Gradishar pitched a complete game, allowing just two earned runs with 16 strikeouts. She also tallied two hits and scored three runs.
Sam Strock homered and drove in three runs on a pair of hits. She also scored two runs in the win. Bella Meyer and Hadley each drove in two runs for Champion. Addison Warzala, Zoe Palette, and Maddison Sylvester also drove in one run apiece.
With the win, Champion improves to 21-4 overall on the season.
The Golden Flashes advance to face South Range in the Division III Regional Final on Friday at 5 p.m. at the Roehm Athletic Complex in Berea, Ohio.
The Raiders topped the Golden Flashes in the 2023 Regional Final by a score of 8-4.
