Columbiana County
Calcutta — Memorial Day Celebration
The event includes live music, food trucks, activities for kids, a car cruise, and a fireworks show at the end of the night. Registration for a 5K and walk begins at 9 a.m., with the race starting at 10 a.m. Registration is also available online.
Calcutta Square
Sunday, May 26, flag-raising ceremony begins at 12:30 p.m., followed by events and fireworks at 9 p.m.
Columbiana — Memorial Day Parade
Annual Memorial Day Parade hosted by the American Legion post 290. The route is South Main Street to circle and ends in Columbiana Firestone Cemetary.

Mahoning County
Austintown — Memorial Day Parade
The American Legion Post 301 in Austintown will host its Memorial Day parade Monday. The parade will begin at 10 a.m. in Marc's parking lot and will lead down Idaho Road to Austintown Fitch High School, where a ceremony will take place. Staging for the parade begins at 9 a.m. Senior Master Sgt. Tom Marhulik will speak at the ceremony.

Beaver Township — Memorial Day Program
Come out to the Veteran's Memorial on the corner of State Routes 164 and 165 at 11 a.m. on Monday, May 27.
Boardman — Memorial Mile
The 32nd event starts at Chili’s Grill & Bar on Market Street in Boardman and goes east on Route 224 for one mile. The race has two sections: the first is for all runners 14 and under and those who want to run for fun starting at 9:35 a.m. and the second is a competitive race starting at 9:55 a.m. with all age groups 15 and older. The second section also serves as the USA Track and Field Lake Erie Association's One Mile Road Championship. Follow its Facebook page for more race information, and register online.

Boardman — Kiwanis 120th Annual Memorial Day Parade & Ceremony
Gather at the park and celebrate those who have served or are serving, as well as those who have given the ultimate sacrifice for the country. Come early for the race. The parade originates at the Center School and then proceeds North on Rt. 7 to the Rt. 224 intersection, and then proceeds east on Rt. 224 to Boardman Township Park. There will be candy at the parade, as well as a memorial service at the Boardman Park Maag Outdoor Amphitheater. In the event of inclement weather, the Memorial Day Service will be held in the Boardman Park Community Center at 10 a.m.

Campbell — Memorial Day Program
A ceremony is set at Campbell Memorial High School and includes performances from the marching band and the reading of veterans' names.

Canfield — 103rd Annual Canfield Memorial Day Services
A ceremony and speakers will be part of the ceremony. There will be a procession to the Canfield East Cemetery where a second, brief ceremony will take place honoring Canfield veterans. Participants will then return to the Canfield War Vets Museum where a final ceremony will be held to honor individuals whose names have been added to the Wall of Honor. Refreshments will be available at the museum following the final ceremony.

Greenford — Greenford Ruritan Memorial Day Parade
"Remembering the Cost of Freedom" is the theme of the event, which includes floats, antique cars, tractors, 4-H clubs, scouts, horses, fire trucks, police cars and decorated bikes. All township veterans are invited to meet at the church at 8:30 a.m. to ride on a float in the parade.
The parade starts at Greenford Christian Church. Line up starts at 8 a.m., with the parade starting at 9 a.m.

Poland — Four Chaplains Ceremony
Sons of The American Legion will conduct its annual Four Chaplains Ceremony, honoring four military chaplains who gave up their life jackets after their ship, the USS Dorchester, was hit by a torpedo and sunk. This event will take place at the War Memorial Building at Post 15 located at 35 Cortland Street in Poland at 9:15 a.m. Monday, May 27.
The 95th Annual Memorial Day Procession begins at 10 a.m. Monday from Post 15 at 35 Cortland Street in Poland. The procession will stop briefly on the Main Street Bridge for a ceremony honoring those lost at sea.
Struthers — Memorial Day Events
At 8 a.m., a Marine Corps ceremony will honor deceased Beirut Veterans; attendees are to park near 38 Washington Street. At 9 a.m., under the Bridge St. bridge, a ceremony will honor those lost at sea. The main ceremony will be held at 10 a.m. at Struthers High School. AMVETS ceremony will be held at 11 a.m. at Lake Park Cemetery.

Youngstown — Memorial Day Mile
Race in the 32nd Youngstown Live Memorial Mile. The event starts at Chili's Grill and Bar on Market Street in Boardman and goes east on Route 224 for one mile, starting right before the Kiwanis Memorial Day Parade.

Youngstown — Smoky Hollow Memorial Service
The event will be held at the corner of N. Walnut and Rayen Avenue (near Choffin and Noble Creature). Refreshments will be served after the service at Yosteria on Valley Street.

The Sons of The American Legion Mahoning Valley Squadron 15 will have Memorial Day ceremonies at the following assisted living facilities:

Hermitage — Annual parade and car show
Hermitage's annual parade and car show will begin at 10 a.m. across from the Shenango Valley Mall on North Hermitage Road, moving south until the parade turns west onto East State Street. The parade will continue on East State Street and come to an end inside Hillcrest Memorial Park (Avenue of 444 Flags) for a service.

Sharon — Memorial Day Parade
The Sharon Memorial Day parade starts at 11 a.m. with a lineup at 10 a.m. at the Sharon American Legion (1395 E. State St., Sharon) on Monday, May 27. The parade lineup departs out of the back parking lot of Sharon American Legion making a left on Buhl Blvd., left (west) onto Highland. Right (north) onto Jefferson, left (west) onto Hull St. Then right onto Oakland Ave. and straight into Oakland Cemetery (via Oakland Ave entrance) with a ceremony at noon once parade entrants arrive. A veteran luncheon will be held at the Shenango Valley VFW, 439 E. State St., Sharon afterward.

Sharpsville — Memorial Day Parade
Sharpsville's 142nd Memorial Day will start at the Sharpsville Plaza at 9 a.m. on Monday, May 27, then a parade will move along Shenange Street, south on Mercer Avenue to Line Street and east on Line Street to Riverside Cemetery, where the Sharpsville Blue Devil Marching Band will perform. Ceremonies will be held after.

Brookfield — Memorial Day Parade and Ceremony
A parade starts at 10 a.m., leading to the cemetery where a ceremony will be held. The featured speaker is U.S. Air Force Veteran Gary Yonchak. The Ladies Auxiliary is hosting a luncheon after the ceremony at the fire hall.

Hubbard Veterans of Foreign Wars coordinates a procession at Union Cemetary down Liberty Street to the Tylee Park war memorial. The event features the Hubbard High School marching band and community speakers.

The 11 a.m. Fowler Township Memorial Day parade has been canceled due to weather. The 10 a.m. service on the green has been moved to the Fowler United Methodist Church, located on Route 193. All are welcome to attend.

Warren — Memorial Day Parade
The parade will start on Mt Bethel Road and continue on Mountain Boulevard. After the parade, a ceremony will take place at the Municipal Complex followed by a picnic at the Warren American Legion post 293 located at 12 Community Place, Warren.

Weathersfield — Memorial Day Ceremony
Pay tribute to veterans and service members at the Community Park on Main Street at 9 a.m. In the case of inclement weather, the ceremony will be moved to the Church of Christ, located at 3911 Main Street (next to the old VFW hall).
