CHAMPION TWP., Ohio (WKBN)- The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a crash between a motorcycle and a car Thursday night.
Troopers were called to the intersection of U.S. 422 and Anderson Anthony Road in Champion Township around 8:30 p.m.
OSHP said a car was stopped at a stop sign before entering the intersection. Reports said that the motorcyclist struck the car.
Troopers said that the motorcyclist was taken to the hospital with serious, life-threatening injuries. OSHP said the motorcyclist was not wearing a helmet.
OSHP advised drivers to take a second look before entering roadways.
Troopers thanked the Champion Police Department, Champion Fire Department, West Farmington Fire Department, May’s Towing, and Bud’s Towing for assisting with the accident.
The crash is under investigation.
