CHAMPION, Ohio (MyValleyTributes) - Martin C. Bartholomew of Champion, formerly of Bristolville, passed away on Friday, April 5, 2024, at 8:18 a.m. in his residence. He was 62 years old.
Martin was born in Bristolville on July 18, 1961, the son of the late Richard A and Joyce A. Alexi.
Mr. Bartholomew worked at Universal Polymer and Rubber, Inc.
He was of Christian faith.
Martin’s world revolved around his grandson, Carter and you could always see the two of them at the baseball fields or roaming the town. He had an appreciation of classic cars and enjoyed going to car shows. In his spare time, you could find him fishing at his pond, fidgeting in the garage or watching cop shows.
He is survived by his children, Amy Bartholomew of Niles and Matthew (Jenni) Bartholomew of Champion, with whom he resided with and his grandchildren, Cora and Carter Bartholomew.
Martin has now joined his family and they are together again in Heaven. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepmother, Betty Lou Weaver Bartholomew and two brothers, Doug and Allen.
