CHAMPION, Ohio (MyValleyTributes) - Robyne L. Ward, age 63, passed away peacefully in her home in Champion, Ohio, on Wednesday, April 16, 2025. Diagnosed with brain cancer in 2023, she fought hard to make the most of the time she had left.
Robyne was born August 21, 1961, in Brownsville, Pennsylvania, to the late Robert “Steve” Jeffrey and Delores Jeffrey.
She was a graduate of Warren Western Reserve High School followed by further education at GMI (Kettering), the University of Akron and the University of Phoenix. She held a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Master’s of Business Administration.
On June 19, 1981, she married the neighbor boy, William Ward and for the next 43 years the two were inseparable.
Robyne worked in engineering and management for Delphi, American Standard and Chrysler. She retired from the Mopar Parts Warehouse in Streetsboro, Ohio.
In her retirement, Robyne enjoyed sewing, making handbags, baking with her grandchildren, floating in the pool, reading a good book and traveling with her husband to go see a Motocross or Supercross race.
Robyne leaves behind her husband, William Ward; her son, Ryan (Jaclyn) Ward and her three grandchildren, Alaina, Colton and Hudson; Nana, as called by her grandchildren, will surely be missed.
Robyne is to be cremated and no funeral services will be held. A private family remembrance will be had at a later date.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Carl W. Hall Funeral Home.
