CHAMPION, Ohio (MyValleyTributs) - Thomas Clifford Emery, age 76, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 26, 2025, after struggling with illness for over a year.
He was born on March 20, 1949, to Robert and Diana Emery in Warren, Ohio.
Tom is survived by his former wife, Rosemary Emery; their two sons, Cliff Emery (Jamie), and John Emery (Kayla); and seven beautiful grandchildren whom he adored, Peyton, Johnny, Aidan, Penny, Colette, Nathan and Christopher. He is also survived by his long-time companion, Louise Bernard.
He leaves behind his siblings, Peggy Narog (Michael), Elaine Emery, Barbara Emery-King and Robert Emery.
One sibling, Beverly Shope, preceded him in death.
Tom was a world-class crane operator for Diamond Steel Construction Company and a member of the Operating Engineers Local 66 for 57 years.
Tom was a dedicated father, provider and a loving grandpa. He was quite talkative and made an impression on everyone he met. He loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He enjoyed watching NASCAR and dirt track sprint car racing. He was happiest spending time with his grandchildren.
Calling hours will be 3:00 - 5:00 p.m. on Friday, April 4, 2025, at Staton-Borowski Funeral Home in Warren, Ohio, with services beginning at 5:00 p.m. Friday.
